Missing Dad Workshop
June 12 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
*Registration Required*
(This workshop is for adults 18+)
Losing a father or father figure doesn’t always follow a clear path. The grief can be layered, sometimes steady, sometimes unexpected, shaped by the relationship you had, the things said and unsaid, and the role they played in your life.
Join us for an evening of connection, reflection and creative expression. Together, we’ll explore themes of “moving our grief” through art and conversation — recognizing that grief is not something to fix, but something we can learn to hold, express and integrate into our lives.
This workshop will be led by art therapist Saera Little, who will guide simple and creative memory-making activities. No artistic experience is required, just a willingness to participate as you are. In addition to creative activities, we will gently introduce parts of grief literacy to help understand the many ways father loss can appear in our lives, relationships and daily moments.
Whether your father died recently or years ago, you are welcome here.
This workshop is open to people of all gender identities. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
