Pilgrims Hospice offers compassionate care for individuals living with a terminal illness, enhancing dignity and quality of life, until the end of life. With a whole-family approach, our programs also support caregivers and those grieving the death of a loved one.
“It’s a reality that the better support an individual receives, the better their quality of life – right to the end. And for those left behind, there’s an opportunity to journey through grief and bereavement in a healthy way.”
– Monica Robson, Pilgrims Hospice Executive Director
Pilgrims Hospice will be closed for the Holidays from Monday, December 24 to Tuesday, January 1 inclusive. We will re-open at our regular time on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
If you would like to make a donation in person during this time, please contact Monica Robson, Executive Director, at 780-686-2640 to make arrangements. While we are closed, those needing support for grief please call the Distress Line at 780-482-4357 and for those with questions about palliative care and respite services, please call the Edmonton Zone Palliative Care Program at 780-613-7000.
We wish our clients and families a time of joy, rest, reflection and peace. The generosity of our supporters has made our work possible this year. We look forward to your continuing care and compassion in the coming year – thank you.
This December, help raise $25,000 for the Hospice Home Visiting Program. Your generosity will truly help the growing numbers in our community, like Lasith, needing someone to share their hopes, dreams, worries and fears with as they near the end of life. With your help, Hospice Home Visits and Vigils are offered free of charge.
