Almost 100 people joined us for the milestone Building Commencement Ceremony, on Monday, August 12, celebrating the construction start of the Roozen Family Hospice Centre.

Garnet Clark, Pilgrims Hospice Society Board Chair, captured the excitement of the event:

“Volunteers and champions, donors and client families, neighbours, construction partners, and community representatives coming together to celebrate and assert the importance of providing specialized end-of life care and grief support in a homelike community setting – this is a good news story that we are co-writing as a community.”
