No One Dies Alone Program
For those who do not have family or friends available to companion them through their end of life journey, volunteers of the No One Dies Alone program (NODA) are available for bedside vigil during the final hours of life – giving the most valuable of human gifts – a dignified death through emotional and spiritual support, comfort, and a hand to hold.
Many people are alone in their lives, without family support or friends nearby. The goal of NODA is to provide around the clock vigil, providing comfort and human connection and ensuring that at the time of death, no one dies alone.
Volunteers on the NODA Call List have completed the Training and undergone a Vulnerable Sector Search.
There is no fee for this service thanks to donor support.
